How do I participate in the virtual Advanced Methods Conference?
The 2021 Advanced Methods Conference will be held virtually on October 6 and include keynote and panel presentations, poster sessions, an exhibit hall, and networking opportunities. After completing the online registration, you will receive an email with the virtual event portal and login information the week before the conference.
Will I be able to access the content from the conference after the event?
Conference content will be available with extended on-demand access through the end of the year. Please note, you must register for the conference to access content after October 6, 2021.
What is included in the registration fee?
Registration includes access to the general session and panel presentations, poster sessions, exhibit hall, networking opportunities, on-demand content, and includes nursing continuing professional development contact hours.
How will abstracts be presented and viewed?
The Advanced Methods Conference platform will feature a virtual poster hall where abstract presenters and attendees can connect through live chat and 1:1 video meetings. Each poster presentation will be pre-recorded and available with on-demand access.
How will Q&A and dialogue be facilitated through the virtual platform?
Will I have the opportunity to participate in the Exhibit Hall?
Yes, the CANS Advanced Methods platform will feature a virtual exhibitor hall where vendors and attendees can connect through live chat and 1:1 video meetings.
How can I network with my colleagues during the virtual event?
There are networking opportunities available through message boards, 1:1 video meetings, and messaging capabilities in the virtual platform. The platform will also feature a Conference Lounge, which is a virtual meeting room for attendees, presenters, exhibitors, and sponsors to network and connect at any time.
How do I receive nursing continuing professional development credits for attending the virtual conference?
The fee for Contact Hours is included in the registration rate. Contact hours are awarded by the American Academy of Nursing following the completion of the virtual event. Continuing education certificates will be sent following the completion of the post-conference evaluation after the virtual conference. The American Academy of Nursing is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
